Aim

• To equip participants with the skills to respond quickly and effectively in medical emergencies

• To increase confidence in performing CPR and using an AED 

• To promote a culture of safety and preparedness in the workplace

Contents

• Scene assessment and personal safety

• Basic life support (CPR for adults, children, and infants)

• Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• First aid for choking, bleeding, shock, fractures, burns, and other common injuries

• Infection control and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Typically 4 to 6 hours, depending on the course level and group size

Validity

• Certification is valid for 2 years from the date of completion
