GWO BST FIRST Aid Refresher
The aim of BSTR is to review and build on previously gained knowledge and skills from BST through theoretical and practical training.
Target Group
Personnel who will be working in the wind industry or related fields and will have their duties in a wind turbine environment, usually in physical contact with a wind turbine or WTG structure
Aim
The aim of this BSTR First Aid Module is to refresh the participants prior experiences, knowledge, skills, and abilities to enable participants to recognise signs and symptoms of life threating situations and administer safe and effective first aid in the wind turbine industry/WTG environment in order to save lives, preventing further illness or injury, until the casualty can be handed over to the next level of care in case of an incident in the wind turbine industry/WTG environment .

- Lifesaving first aid using primary survey and the first aid structure
- Providing first aid to relevant incidents in the wind industry

Validity
- 2 years
Pre-requisite
- Participants shall possess valid BST/ BSTR certificates or training records in WINDA for the relevant modules prior to attending BSTR training. The participants shall also have a personal participant profile in WINDA and provide their own WINDA ID prior to completing the BST training.
