GWO BST SEA SURVIVAL

GWO BST training shall enable participants to prepare for various random / emergency situations

Target Group

Personnel who will be working in the wind industry or related fields and will have their duties in a wind turbine environment, usually in physical contact with a wind turbine or WTG structure

Aim

The aims of this BST Sea Survival course are, by theoretical and practical training, to give the participants the ability to act safely and responsibly and to take the correct preventive actions in all aspects of offshore operations from shore to installation vessel (or WTG) and vice versa. This is both during normal operations and in an offshore wind energy environment emergency.

  • 2 years

Pre-requisite

  • Registration in the WINDA database winda.globalwindsafety.org and obtaining the WINDA ID
  • Working at heights prerequisite removed
