Target Group

This course is designed for seafarers designated to provide medical first aid on board ship.

Aim

The aim of the MFA is to give candidates the essential education and training to meet the minimum standard of medical first aid according to Chapter A-VI/4 of STCW' 78, as amended.

• Delegates attending this programme are recommended to possess a valid Basic Safety Training(BST) certificate
