This Course is designed for those who are required to perform survival craft operation during shipboard emergency response situations

Aim

The aim of the PSCRB is to give candidates the essential education and training to meet the minimum standard of competence in survival craft and rescue boats other than fast rescue boats according to Chapteer A-VI/2 of STCW'78, as amended.

Contents

• Construction and outfit of survival craft and rescue boats and individual ites of their equipment
• Various types of launching device
• Dangers associated with the use of on load release devices
• Management of surviors and survival craft after abandoning ship
• Use of locating device(Communication)
• Use of first aid kit and resuscitation techniques
